3rd (and last) General Assembly Meeting in Manchester

The General Assembly of the GOTSolar project met in Manchester, 27 November 2017, accompanied by other consortium members for the meeting concluding the project. The main aim was to discuss the results and achievements, and evaluate the finalimpact of the project.

Very exciting excitons: a radio program by France Culture

Emmanuelle Deleporte made an appearance in France Culture national French radio station to talk about excitons and their engineering for contemporary photovoltaic devices. The program was a part of a well known series La methode scientifique and was entitled Les excitons: un potentiel très excitant.

A series of lectures for undergraduate students by GOTSolar leaders

The professors included in the Project gave lectures for university students from various universities. All of them aimed at encouraging the young generation to rely more on the renewable energy sources with particular focus on perovskite photovoltaics.

Laboratoire Aimé Cotton is based in Orsay, France, and has huge expertise of hybrid perovskites: optimization and optical properties of the material, introduction of the material in vertical microcavities working in the strong coupling regime in the framework of polaritons lasers. Lecture of Prof. Jacky Even at IChF PAN in Warsaw

Kick-off meeting

The GOTSolar project has been officially inaugurated. All the consortium members gathered 25–26 January in Porto to discuss the objectives and work plan for the following months.
